Use REDLINE

REDline is a command line software application for Mac^® OS X^® and Windows^®. REDline performs transcoding and pre-editorial image manipulation of REDCODE^® RAW footage. The original files are left untouched regardless of how they are translated or manipulated in REDline.

You can perform the following actions with REDline:

• Translate R3D^® files into file formats and codecs usable for most non-linear editing systems.
• Convert R3D files in to file formats usable for editorial applications or VFX, such as Apple^® ProRes, Avid^® DNxHD, Avid DNxHR, DPX, and EXR.
