Rename Clip Name

You can rename a clip name in REDCINE-X PRO to organize your clips. Renaming clip names in REDCINE-X PRO does not change the filename embedded in the metadata of the clip. The filename embedded in the metadata of the clip cannot be permanently altered in REDCINE-X PRO.

WARNING: Altering the original filename on your desktop can cause problems in post production.

To rename a clip name in REDCINE-X PRO, follow the instructions below:

1. Drag the selected clip to a project bin.
2. Right-click the thumbnail and select Rename.
