Image: Look
Image: Look contains the primary image adjustment tools and sliders for viewing, color grading, and exporting R3D footage while using Legacy controls. Most adjustments in Image:Look use the slider function. Click and drag the slider left or right to decrease or increase the value, respectively. Alternatively, enter a value into the value box next to the slider to select a specific level. To add the Image:Look group to a panel while using Legacy controls, right-click in a panel and select Image:Look.

NOTE: Color and Gamma Space settings for R3D files are set in-camera and captured in the R3D metadata. When an R3D is opened in REDCINE-X PRO, the Color and Gamma Space settings reflect the in-camera setting.

White Balance Adjustments
White Balance is the process of adjusting how color is rendered in an image so that objects that appear white in person also appear white in the image. You can set the Kelvin slider number to the color temperature of the scene. The slider graphic indicates how the image looks at that Kelvin value.
For more information, see the Using White Balance to Control Color Casts article.
White Balance allows you to adjust the following image characteristics:

Description |

- This parameter is valuable when the ambient light source contains significant amounts of yellow and green, such as in environments with fluorescent lighting.
- When a clip is shot with a sensor that supports Low Light Mode and Low Light Mode is enabled, the LL icon is displayed next to the ISO label.
