Go to Preferences > General to configure general settings.
- Master RMD Directory: Click Change and browse to the folder you want to use as the Master RMD directory.
- Automatically Save RMD Files: Automatically saves RMD files to the Master RMD directory.
- Verbose Logging: Adds more information to log files. Only select Verbose Logging if you need extensive log files for Support. Enabling Verbose Logging may slow down your computer performance.
- Allow Collection of Anonymous Usage Statistics: Enables RED to collect anonymous data about how the program is used. This data is used to improve performance in future builds.
- Show Instantaneous Frame Rate: This feature is currently disabled.
- Show Advanced Controls: Show advanced menu items and controls throughout the user interface.
- Prompt to Save Project on Exit: If you exit REDCINE-X PRO after modifying a project, you will be prompted to save the project. Regardless of this setting, you will always be prompted to save a project if you close it (File > Close Project) after modifying it.
- Update Scopes on Playback: Automatically update the histogram during Playback.
- Second Monitor: Set the monitor that REDCINE-X PRO should use as the "secondary" monitor. The numbers in the drop-down menu correspond to which monitors are assigned as primary (1) and secondary (2) in your system.
- Launch RED Watchdog on REDCINE-X Start: Launches RED Watchdog when REDCINE-X PRO is opened. This is applicable to Mac® only. For more information, go to Use RED Watchdog.
- Autosave Projects: Select this check box to enable REDCINE-X PRO to autosave the RMD files for open projects. Then select how often you want the RMDs to be autosaved in the Save a copy every __ minutes field.
