Snapshot

Go to Preferences > Snapshot to configure snapshot settings. You can trigger snapshots from the Control Bar. For more information, go to Control Bar.

• Save snapshot to: Click Change and browse to the folder you want to use as the snapshot directory.
• Prompt for Filename: When you take a snapshot, REDCINE-X PRO will prompt you to name the file and select a directory. If this check box is deselected, then REDCINE-X PRO will automatically save the snapshot with a default name to the default snapshot directory.
• Format: Select the file type for snapshots:
  • TIFF
  • DPX
  • JPEG
• Quality: Select the quality level for snapshots:
  • Full resolution
  • Half resolution
  • Quarter resolution
  • Eighth resolution
  • Sixteenth resolution
• Preset: Select a preset for snapshots:
  • None: Does not apply any presets to snapshots.
  • Use current motion export preset: Disables the other settings in the Snapshot preferences, and applies the current motion export preset to snapshots.
