REDline is a command line software application for Mac® OS X® and Windows®. REDline performs transcoding and pre-editorial image manipulation of REDCODE® RAW footage. The original files are left untouched regardless of how they are translated or manipulated in REDline.
You can perform the following actions with REDline:
- Translate R3D® files into file formats and codecs usable for most non-linear editing systems.
- Convert R3D files in to file formats usable for editorial applications or VFX, such as Apple ProRes®, Avid® DNxHD, Avid DNxHR, DPX, and EXR.
