Proxy Record

Use Proxy Record to enable the camera to record a proxy file along with the R3D file.

When Proxy Record is enabled, the Proxy Record settings are enabled. The setting for proxy resolution is set to 2K (17:9) or HD, and you cannot change it. The settings you can select include Format and Color.

 

Color

Use color to select the color profile for the proxy file.

NOTE: When you set the Recording Frame Rate above 60 fps, the camera disables Proxy Recording and displays a warning. When you set the Recording Frame Rate to 60 fps or lower, the camera enables ProRes proxy recording and displays a message. When you enable Phantom Track Recording mode, the camera disables Proxy Recording and displays a warning.
