Image: Primary
Image: Primary contains the primary image adjustment tools and sliders for viewing, color grading, and exporting R3D footage while using IPP2 controls. Most adjustments in Image: Primary use the slider function. Click and drag the slider left or right to decrease or increase the value, respectively. Alternatively, enter a value into the value box next to the slider to select a specific level. To add the Image: Primary group to a panel while using IPP2 controls, right-click in a panel and select Image: Primary.

Color Space and Gamma Curve
The Color Space and Gamma Curve are text-only indicators of the standardized, universal settings that are encoded straight from the camera. In Legacy Mode, these settings are adjustable for continuity with earlier project files and workflows. For more on these settings, also see Image Pipeline.

White Balance Adjustments
White Balance is the process of adjusting how color is rendered in an image so that objects that appear white in person also appear white in the image. You can set the Kelvin slider number to the color temperature of the scene. The slider graphic indicates how the image looks at that Kelvin value.
For more information, see the Using White Balance to Control Color Casts article.
